Who we Are
Garden City is a brand new non-denominational Church in Columbia, Missouri.
We value Presence, Identity, and Mission
Presence: Throughout the Bible we see that the God we worship is a God who is present to His people. When we experience His presence we also experience an invitation to be present ourselves. This means, whatever we have gone through in our lives, whatever questions we have regarding God or spirituality, whatever baggage we carry, there is space to be present with all of it at Garden City.
Identity: Before we try to do anything for God, we are invited to Be with God. In other words, we are called to BE before we are called to DO. This means we strive to create spaces to hear from God and others where we can receive and learn to function out of our true, God-given identity.
Mission: The community of Garden City is a force for good in our city, and when we engage with presence and Identity, we will see people set free to impact the city out of the passions God has placed within them.
